Data Deletion Policy

1. Your Right to Delete

You can delete your Viral Drama account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This Policy explains how to request deletion, what is deleted, and what may be retained. It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to the Viral Drama app and the website at viraldrama.app operated by ScrollSolution FZCO (Trade License No. 68463, Dubai, UAE).

2. How to Request Deletion

In the App: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm.
On the web: visit https://viraldrama.app/data-deletion and follow the instructions.
By email: send a request from your registered email address to privacy@viraldrama.app.

You do not need to reinstall or remain signed in to the App to request deletion — the web form and email options above work independently of the App. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.

3. What Is Deleted

Upon deletion, we hard-delete or irreversibly anonymize the personal data linked to your account in our active systems, including:

your profile and account details (name or display name, email, profile photo);
watch history, watchlist, playback progress, and search history;
your coin balance, entitlements, and in-app preferences and settings;
device identifiers and push-notification (Firebase Cloud Messaging) associations.

4. What May Be Retained

We may retain limited information where we have a legal or legitimate basis to do so, for example:

transaction and billing records required for tax, accounting, or audit obligations (note that purchase records are also held independently by Apple and Google);
information needed to detect or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
records necessary to comply with law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Retained data is limited to what is necessary and is deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

5. Timelines

In-app and web deletion requests are processed promptly. Personal data is removed from active systems within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days) and may persist in secure encrypted backups for a limited time before being overwritten. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

6. Subscriptions and Coins

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Apple or Google. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription separately in your store account settings (App Store or Google Play) before deleting your account. Any unused coin balance is forfeited on deletion, has no monetary value, and is not refundable. For the full billing terms, see our Terms of Service.
